    Thumbs up

I have to put in a special word of thanks also for the awesome guys in the 1st Maine Cavalry, for helping us on the 1st Bdge staff (many of whom had never rode a horse at an event before, myself included) and keeping us from, well, *actually* dying or hurting our loaned horses! Their firm but very patient advice and assistance made a huge impact and impression, especially on me, and really helped me get the most out of my "equine experience" which I plan to further pursue off, and occasionally on, the field in the future. Also, to Brian Brown for helping us with the literal care and feeding of the horses and teaching us the basics of handling tack, etc. These things ALONE totally made my weekend. It was simply great stuff!

Chris, Not sure who all was involved in all of the planning, but I wish to let each and everyone of you know that the words thank you do not express the feelings we must exhibit to you and your staff for all of your hard work, sacrifice of time, attention to detail, proffessionalism, and realism. This was truly a magnificent event. We also need to express much gratitude to the owners of the wonderful land which we were blessed to tramp upon. Not many would do what they did. Wow, what a feeling of satisfaction to be able to say I was a part of something that raised $20,000 for a great cause. I pray that each year Hope's Campaign will continue to prosper. Blessings upon everyone involved ...
