If you really want to ride on authentic ground and live out of the saddle with reenactors devoted to doing it as "they" did, come over in October of this year, or in 2012, to do the Unison, VA, event with us. Check the 1st Maine Cavalry website for pics of previous event there and links to the event site. It's only about 50 miles from DC, and we can provide weapons and set you up with a horse. It's about as good as it gets in the east, and the more the merrier.
