Default WTS/WTT 1863 Sharps Confederate Cavalry Carbine

    Hi, y'all,

I have for sale or trade a reproduction Sharps 1863 Cavalry Carbine made by IAB. This version is similar to the Confederate copy of the standard Sharps, in that the receiver lacks the hump seen in the originals manufactured by the North to accomodate the obsolete Maynard tape primer. Pre-owned but in very good condition, with a couple of dings in the stock. I was going to use this in connection with Western Theater CSA cavalry living history, but opted for a Mississippi Rifle and a SxS period 12 gauge shotgun, so I want to sell/trade this Sharps Carbine to get other "needed" goods.

I am asking $625 plus actual shipping via most economical ground carrier from 37210 to buyer's zip code.

In trade, up or down, I would consider the following necessities: 1851 Colt Navy .36 revolver; quality period-correct civilian jean frock or sack coat, cavalry boots (size 9.5-10), or CS/civilian trousers (36 waist); original or reproduction saddles (Jennifer, Grimsley, English Hussar, Muley, Ranger, etc...already have a Texas and a McClellan); or quality CW books, maps or prints.

    Thanks for lookin'!
