Default Longstreet's Corps Camp of Instruction

Went by Dorey Park the weekend of Sept 9-10. Nobody was there. What happened?

    Question

Longstreet Corps used to be a force to be reckoned with when the late Gen. Chuck Hillsman was in charge. Why not look up Chief of Staff Tony Zusman to ask if the camp of instruction was moved or canceled? This may be a better route than rumor or speculation. Good luck.

    Default Been waiting

    Ray:

I have left a message. No word. That's why I waited over a week to ask.

    Anyway.

Have seen posts in 3 or 4 other forums asking the same question. None of them were answered.

I heard that it was cancelled due to lack of participants. Each unit in Longstreet's corps has a contact person who gets requests from the adjutant of the corps for how many people are going to attend from that unit. Evidently too few registered to attend.

    Default Thanks

    Thank you Mr. Mayo.

For some reason they invited "walk-ons". Interesting, to say the least.
