    Default Few Misc. Items FS

I have a couple of items for sale that I no longer need/want:

    1. - Two boys shirts, sz. 3/4 T. I made these shirts a few years ago for a little boy in our reenacting group and since he has outgrown them, his mother gave them back to me. I have no use for them (my little guys are "tunic guys") so am offering them here. One is of blue/white/black check homespun cotton, and the other green/white check homespun cotton. Both have wooden buttons, handmade buttonholes and are otherwise machine sewn with white cotton thread. All seams felled for neatness and durability. Band collar. These are a bit of a "compromise" since historically, boys this age would be wearing dresses or just going into the transitional styles of button suits or tunics. I am asking $15 + $2 shipping for both shirts together and will throw in another shirt for free that was passed down to me along with these, in the same size, a sutler muslin cotton shirt with red/white homespun cottom collar and cuffs (perhaps useful as an emergent spare garment?).

    2. Blue/white cotton print quilted sunbonnet. I made this last summer but didn't think it was very flattering to my face shape. It is cut like a standard slat bonnet, with a full gathered back and adjustable drawstring inside, at the neckline, to adjust the fit. Self fabric ties. It is machine quilted with cotton thread and there are a few tiny puckers in the quilting since I didn't have a quilting foot to use. The puckers bother me. They aren't that noticable though. Quilted with thin cotton batting in between the brim layers. Rather warm for hot summer use, but ideal for cooler events in spring and fall. $12 shipped.

    3. Baby/Toddler cloak-coat. I made 2 of these for my older boys and they have outgrown them. I only need one for the baby, so the other is available. Made from a godeys pattern for a "boys cloak". The outer layer is black small corderoy, interlined with cotton flannel and lined with pale green cotton. The one I am interested in getting rid of has hand embroidered feather stitching around the front opening and partially along the bottom at the front. The embroidery is done in red cotton. Hooks closed at the neck. About a size 3T although it is not a fitted garment and could be worn by smaller or a bit larger sizes. . .$12 shipped.

I think that is all for now, although I may come across more little boy stuff as I clean out last years clothes and sew up new ones for this year.

Please email me for pics, if you are interested. The best way to get ahold of me is through email: david_sarahmeister @ mtco. com

    Thanks,
    Sarah
