It's food for thought but more of a snack than a meal. REENACTORS were involved.

Default boycot this racist anti southern anti confederate movie

To all with decency, boycott this movie made by a blatant racist, spike lee buddy. To even suggest virginians teaming up with hitler after all the good southerners who died fighting the nazis is disgusting, boycott it!

We don't need devisive racist directors like this, the war was over and things have been healing and this clown comes along and just opens wounds.

Default I wouldn'y pay a dime to hear racist comments

If you pay for the movie and support this racist mans pocket and goals I'll watch it. Otherwise it would be like paying to hear Hitler, or have mel gibson give a drunken speech on the world according to him, or have michael moore make a civil war documentary.

    Default Oh......

I think you're mixing Spike Lee, the producer up with the director Kevin Willmott.

"C.S.A.: The Confederate States of America" is listed on Netflix under..

    "Genres:
    Spoofs and Satire
    Comedy
    Indie Comedies
    Political Comedies
    Independent

    Collections:
    Mockumentaries"

You might get a kick out of the alternative history DW Griffith film on the capture of President Lincoln and Harriet Tubman.

    (see the still)

Considering the devisive split that now exists in the SCV between politically militant neo-secessionists and heritage-minded traditionalists, I'd say that some wounds have healed while others have definately opened wider: http://www.splcenter.org/intel/intel...le.jsp?aid=493

From where I sit Hollyweird doesn't appear to be ganging up on the South as much as the South is ganging up on itself.
