    Default Loose Kepi

    Friends,

This may sound trivial to some but it is important to me.

I have a CS Kepi, unknown make, that is a about a half inch too big for my head. I have monkied around with the sweat band and cannot find a way to make it fit any better.

I have let my hair get a little longer and it does fit better but I hate long hair on me.

Is there some other practical solution?

    Thanks

The best way for a permanant fix is to take out the back seam of the cap as well as the back inch or so of the sweat band and resew the seam and take off a piece of the end of the sweatband and resew that as well. Short of that, a piece of paper, wool, or other material folded flat and placed under the back end of the sweatband has worked as well.
