Default WTS Bayonets, Hats, Swords, Misc

I have the following items I would like to sell. I will send any additional pictures you would like. Buyer to pay shipping. Payment by money order or PayPal, but please include 3.5% to the total with shipping for PayPal use. I can take checks too, but will hold until it clears the bank. I work during the days so will be answering emails at night in the order received. First “I’ll take it” gets the item (by date stamp). Email me at civilwarjunkie1863(remove)@yahoo.com, or PM. Open to offers as I need to make some room.

Pictures are posted at the following link. http://tinypic.com/a/1dswl/4

Cavalry kepi. Huge melon head size. I have a 24 ˝ nd this one is a bit loose on me. Unfortunately, it’s been hanging for a while as indicated by the point in the back of the hat. The leather sweat and is stiff and is torn in the back (where hanging). I would recommend some Lexol to loosen up the leather, or use as a display/loaner. Has crossed sabre insignia on the top. $20.00

Cavalry officers slouch hat. Complete with metal cavalry insignia and officers hat cord. Leather sweatband. I believe it’s a 7 3/8 – 7 ˝ measuring front to rear. It has a slight odor to it that I mention for accuracy. It may be cigarette smoke. It’s faint, but I do notice it. A few days in the field should “freshen” it up. $25.00

Woman’s white cotton bloomers. Measures about 30” in the waist. Single button on the waist, the crotch area is open, and the legs enclosed. The cuffs are hemmed with several pleats. $5.00

Black cloth belt (sash). Just plain black cloth hemmed with a slight design on the ends. About 9 feet long. $2.00

    SWORDS AND BAYONETS

Enfield leather bayonet scabbard. Seems to be new, but purchased used. $13.00

Pattern 1860 cavalry sword and scabbard. This is new in the wrap. No markings but a faint India mark hat could be filled and ground out. It’s not an exact replica, but fairly close. Would be good for use to protect your nice blade. $45.00

Another cavalry sword and scabbard. This one has a fairly straight, heavy blade. Brass crossguard and leather wrapped grip. Copper wire braid. Much heavier blade that I suppose could represent a CS sword or import purchase. Again, meant to be used as this is not an exact replica. $40.00

Socket bayonet for the Trapdoor. Measures about 0.705” at the bridge end, and 0.675” at the muzzle end. 20.75” overall length 18.25” blade length and 2.5” socket length. Was in the white, but has light oxidation on the surface. Should clean up nice with a wire wheel. $30.00

Navy Arms brass hilt saber bayonet for the Zouave or other two band rifles such as the Mississippi. Not sure which one this fits. Muzzle ring ID is about 0.903” Overall length is 24” with a 19.25” blade. This is a high quality reproduction and marked Navy Arms Made in Italy on the grip. As new, but I don’t believe they still make them. $50.00
