    Default Ladies Items for Sale

All prices include postage to the continental U.S. Pictures are available upon request.

    1) Well-worn work dress #1 $50.00- Handmade by fellow list member Barbara Hartman. This has been a hand-me-down through our "fluffy" years. Dress will fit a modern 18-20 and has the following features-
    - Gathered waist- approx 36"-38"
    - Covered button closure on the front
    - Length from waist to floor- 36" with an additional 4" or so in tucks
    - Bodice length- 17" from shoulder to waist
    - Sleeve length- 20"
    - Bust- 42" approx.
    - Blue/white check 100% cotton fabric
    - Again, 100% handsewn with love and skill

    2) Well-worn work dress #2 $50.00- Handmade by another CBB member, Marcie Tillet. Dress will fit a modern 18-20 and has the following features-
    - Gathered waist- approx. 36"-38"
    - Hook and eye tape front closure with persimmon seed mock buttons
    - Fitted bodice with white cotton lining
    - Length from waist to floor- 33" with an additional 4" in one very deep hem and 2" in a tuck
    - Bodice length- 17" from shoulder to waist
    - Sleeve length- 14"
    - Bust- 42" approx.
    - Soft blue/white check 100% cotton fabric
    - a couple of small bleach spots on the bottom of the skirt. One side seam has been repaired (inexpertly) by me
    - 100% handsewn with friendship and care

    3) 1860s Coral branch pin $75.00. I bought this from Kay Gnagey for Shaker Village 4 years ago. Since it is an original I have been extremely reluctant to wear it anywhere and it deserves to be shown off on a pretty dress. I believe there is a picture on Kay's website right now of the pin. It is 1" long with two pieces of coral branch. A very nice, delicate piece of jewelry.

    4) 1860s bone ring $15.00. I bought this from Glenna Jo Christen and it is rumored to have been found at Camp Chase. Fits a size 6 ring finger.

    5) 1860s barege mourning veil and pins $50.00. I bought this from Linda Gray to use in my mourning impression. Veil measures 48" x 36" and has a 2" darker strip along the longer ends. There are several small pin holes, 3 larger holes (approx. 1/4") and one small area of discoloration.

    6) 8 yards of a blue paisley 100% cotton fabric $15.00. Probably brought this fabric from Hobby Lobby or Wal-Mart so it's not printed on both sides. Still, a very nice piece of fabric for that crazy wrapper or nice day dress.

I accept personal checks, money orders and PayPal. Please email me at CandaceHRose@tds.net for more info.
