The spambots, at least some of the persistent ones, have figured a way to beat our "anti-spambot" system.

So we're going to ask new members to PM me and I'll be happy to validate their membership since we'll then know they're humans. If you get a "box full" give me a few days and try again. Hasn't been a problem so far though.

Hundreds of "applications" are too many to sort through, so I'll wipe the slate clean Sept 21 if I haven't heard from someone by that point.
