    Default Goldendale Tinsmith

I just wanted to send out some words of praise for the goods and service of George, the Goldendale Tinsmith on this forum. I enquired of him a few days ago on his ability to make an item that he doesn't advertise (a Spanish American War US canteen), of which he affirmed that he can make those and had for years. I was aware of his prowess with tin, particularly hot dipped tin, as I've purchased his items through the years from retail vendors, and this canteen was every bit as good as his other wares, and his service was phenomenal, with frequent communication about completion and shipping. From email question to item showing up at my door was 8 days, incredible for a non-stock custom job. I wish I was anything close in my dealings, but I fail miserably compared to him. Thanks for a great job George, and for all on here, don't hesitate to purchase from him when in need of a stellar canteen.

    Default Product Review

I am doing an updated product review on his NY Depot tin canteen, which will run in the Gazette in the near future. The last review on his NY canteen was in The Watchdog quite a while ago.
