J P Moore Enfield Rifle Musket for sale

This is a customized three band Enfield I made up from a "new" Euroarms Enfield.
These are often called the "M" Rifle Or "M" Enfield due to the lock plate markings of Eagle/Shield/"M" to the rear of the hammer. A date like (in this case) 1863 forward of the hammer.
John P Moore & Sons of New York City were agents for Colt. They contracted to the Federal Government, and several Northern States to make an Enfield type firearm.
All the furniture has been replace on this Euroarms that will turn it into a copy of a true 3rd Pattern Enfield.
The stock has been striped and re worked to meet with the contours of the original stocks, and refinished.
This J P Moore Rifle Musket comes with an American style leather sling, Enfield tompion and is approved for competition (SAC card) in the N-SSA. $1,250.00 plus ship and insure.
