WTB Potsdam Parts

Hi, Does anyone out there have a sear , sear spring and sear screw for sale for a Pottsdam Musket. Also looking for a bayonet and scabbard. I found a repro bayonet on line but no scabbard, will it fit an Enfield or Springfield scabbard? Please advise.

Both Lodgewood and S & S Firearms sometimes have parts for Potsdam muskets. S & S are in your neighbourhood 718-497-1100. You should be able to find original bayonets out there at gun shows, they are common enough. As far as scabbords, there are no repos out there that resemble originals. When you choose a scabbard I would suggest it depends on your impression or your units'. You can use a springfield scabbard if you try several different ones at the sutlers with the bayonet you plan to use; some seem to fit better than others.

Hi Dave, Thanks for the input, Lodgewood has the sear spring and sear spring screw and they are on the way! Now all I need are the bayonet and scabbard.
