Default Please help -Looking for a unit with civilians VA/MD/PA

    Hi all,

I am a former reenactor (female) looking to get back into the lifestyle after being out of reenacting for a few years. I am the only one of my family/friends who has any interest in reenacting, so I'd be looking to join alone as a civilian. So much has changed since I was involved last!
Can anyone recommend units (CSA preferred) that have active civilians or a civilian attachment? I am hoping to find a unit based in central/north VA, MD or PA. Thanks for your time!

    Ma'am,

If your'e serious about joining a group of Civilians based out of the Central East-Coast Virginia/Maryland/Pennsylvania...I highly recommend you touch base with the Atlantic Guard Soldiers Aid Society (AGSAS), these men and women are highly proffessional, and still know how to kick back and have a good time: http://www.agsas.org/

Another option would be the First Battalion ANV. We have a number of individual female members in the battalion. I can be contacted at the below listed e-mail address.
