Okay, so I got that idea from a WTS post of Marc Hermann's on the A/C awhile back; imitation is the sincerest form of flattery...
The knapsack and buckle were part of a fairly large lot of various stuff I bought in a getting-out-of-hobby sale that included other stuff that I wanted.
Prices include shipping by parcel post to CONUS; if it is one of those deals where Priority Mail is less than a buck more, I'll go ahead and send it that way.
Knapsack is a sutler-row variety Federal doublebag. Used but in very good shape; I DID repaint it...not because it was in lousy condition, but rather because it had a unit designation painted on it. Rather than just blot out the designation, I repainted the whole thing so it looked "uniform". Include a pair of - admittedly mismatched - overcoat straps. All the hardware, e.g. J-hooks &cet, is there. I'll throw the NCO plate (the solid brass variety) in with it; it is brand new and still in its package. Again, $39.99 shipped.
The haversack is an old Jarny, the type advertised as their later-war variety with the vertical stiching on the closure strap (I am no haversack expert). It too is used, but with plenty of life left. Has original owner's name and phone number written in ink on the inside. Strap is knotted, not cut. Inner bag is in there &cet. $22.99 shipped.

Thanks much-
