    Default Mifflin Guard G-Burg Encampment

We will once again set up a camp on the NPS battlefield near the Pennsylvania Monument for July 4th weekend events. We have had individuals and companies join us in the past. We welcome interested individuals or groups to again join us this year!

We march in at 9:15 AM, Saturday morning. Break by companies and pitch camp. We have a number of activities scheduled for the weekend. Sunday we break camp around 3:00/3:30 PM and march out. Friday evening camping permitted for arrivees.

Camp streets are populated with shelter-halves or shebangs. Each company may pitch a fly.

We will march to the Wheatfield on Saturday for a ceremony this year.

Contact Andy Siganuk for uniform impression and any other questions if you'd like to attend at asiganuk@comcast.net

Default I hope to be there!

There's nothing like doing a living history July 4th weekend on the battlefield with a battalion of 180 well-drilled men, along with an NPS ranger or two to narrate! I consider this one of my favorite events every year I can attend.

Always a good living history by the Mifflin Guard over the 4th. Glad to see each company can have a fly, since the PA Monument can be an oven at that time of year.
