Best place to find out is at the Army of Tennessee (formerly 1st Confed. Div.) site.

Any CS campaigners who need a home have two good choices. Charles Mathis of the CHAPs will be running an authentic Provost at this event. Soldiers will be attached to the HQ Provost Guard and participate in everything from searching for deserters, handling federal prisoners, "recruiting" reluctant citizens of KY to the cause, police guard in and around HQ, etc. During the battles they will likely be plugged in where the need arises, as often occured. The impression is the 15th Tennessee Inf - Bragg's Provost Guard during the campaign. You can reach Charles at pvtmathis@att.net

The other good choice will be to fall in with either the Red River Battalion or perhaps one of Bill Rambo's battalions. Suggest you send a note to Silas Tackitt, acting AoT Chief of Staff at silas@zipcon.net
