Seriously, check out Ebay. That is where I got mind. I don't know of any sulters that reproductions of keywinds (apparently they not made by anyone including the paki's) so you basically have to get an original from approximately that era.
you might want to talk to big bear...he is a sutler in New England...you can google him for his website he has nice pocket watches
Check with Don Smith at trans-mississppi depot company, my wife picked me up a nice Elgin from Don for Christmas, the nice thing is you get them in good working order,Ive carried mine every day since and it works like a charm!

I'm with Tom. There are a million pocket watches on Ebay. Most are from the 1890's to the 1940's BUT if your patient you can get a great antique piece from the 1850-1860's. I got two very nice orginals key wind ups from Ebay. I just sold the one but I use the other one every time I go out to re-enact. It keeps great time and I got it for a great price.
This is my signature. There are many others like it, but this one is mine.
My signature is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life.
Without me, my sig is useless. Without my sig, I am useless.
