Default Weapons of the 1st Texas Infantry?

Here's hoping someone can help me out here. In one of my many books, it briefly mentions that "some units" of the 1st Texas were armed with .69 Caliber Smoothbores until 1864 when they were replaced.
    So....what were they replaced with?

And actually...What was the main weaponry of the 1st Texas? I can't seem to find anything on it. So I am hoping that y'all can help.

    Thanks...

From Don Troiani's "Civil War Infantry"............here's the quote

Texas Brigade 1863- The arms carried by the brigade varied, but with the exception of the 1st Texas, they consisted mainly of .57-or .58-caliber rifle muskets. The men of the 1st received and carried a mixture of .69-caliber smoothbore muskets and rifle muskets, with the smoothbores continuing in services well into 1864.
    Hope this helps

Yes this does....I'm just wondering WHAT .69 caliber weapon they carried?
Also, does your unit have a website?

    Thanks!
