    Dear Polymath Bugler ,
    This here is just like you-getting the Secesh all stirred up like a nest of hornets you just disturbed with your bugling ! You know they are sensitive . No Christmas in Andersonville talk neither. I believe you are one of them waving the bloody-shirt fellers

    The Holiday Season brings out the stupidity in a lot of people. Some of the questions we get this time of year are truly astounding. It is sorta like this:

    If you don't discuss Andersonville, we won't discuss Point Lookout, MD.

    As far as Sherman is concerned, as bad as he was, everytime I travel through Atlanta I can't help but think..."Where's Sherman when you NEED him?"

    Not all in the South shared the "cause".
    From the lyrics of Henry Clay Work:

    Yes and there were Union men who wept with joyful tears,
    When they saw the honored flag they had not seen for years;
    Hardly could they be restrained from breaking forth in cheers,
    While we were marching through Georgia.

    I'd like to pass out those signs to drivers that didnt clean the snow off their car windows.

    BTW, I'm a Ron White fan.

    DEAR Buckeye ,
    I stated "Secesh " , not Southrons . How is the monument and cannon in the park in downtown Elyria ? I hope they are still there .I used to enjoy that town last century when I was a young feller.
