Up for sale is a Columbus Depot shell jacket, marked size 42. I dont know the maker but would say it is a decently made mainstream jacket. Brown jeancloth, six peice construction, with light blue collar & cuff trim. Lined, six brass "I" buttons, machine sewn, linen lining with one inside pocket. Supposedly used in the movie "The Hunley" and was prematurely "aged" by roughing up the collar, cuffs and some slight staining on the body & lining. The jeancloth is still very solid, very usable.
