Thread: Used clothing

    Default Used clothing

There used to be a guy who bought used uniforms and such and resold them. He had a store in one of the outlet malls on 95 in Northern Virginia. Can anyone help me find him.

    Default Can't recall his name....

    Comrade Peter,
I'm wondering if you are looking for the guy I'm thinking of. Thinking back to my mainstream days back in the last decade, I remember seeing his tent set up at many, many events, selling all kinds of used militaria/reenacting products. At several of the events, I recall seeing a F&I War coat hanging out in front of his setup and Zulu War Brit helmets hanging inside.
I can't remember his name, and it's bothering the $&#^ out of me. Whether he's still around or not is beyond me. Last time I saw him, I believe, was the 140th Manassas... But I may be dreaming... Getting old sucks...

    Default I saw that guy....

wayyyy back at the 135 Antietam; I bought a WW2 M41 field jacket from him. It was kind of odd to see a set-up at a CW event selling items far out of period context.

    Haven't seen him since.

    Default Liberated Goods

I think that was the guy. He had some great stuff. He also had an air conditioner hooked up to a generator one year to cool his tent off.
