    Default Cleaning out the Closet- Dresses

    Hello Again!
    Here are some dress I have for sale. All have been worn (some more than others). All of them were made by me. Minor repairs such as retacking things or resewing hook and eyes are needed on most garments. All measurements are actual garment measurements. The sizes I give are what I'm pretty sure I cut from the pattern.

    Peach water marked taffeta ball gown -SOLD PENDING PAYMENT
    -Roughly a size 10-12
    -Double flounce skirt (made with a lighter fabric under the top flounce)
    -Black lace trim at the neckline and sleeves
    -hand worked eyelets for lacing
    -moderate to heavy wear (the dress is about 8 years old)
    -Still a pretty dress for its age. Would be good as a ball gown when you know that you are going to be dancing in grass
    Skirt
    -29" waist
    -40" total length (each flounce is about 20")
    -Large box pleats cover gathering underneath
    -The skirt is pretty heavy and has lots and lots of fabric in it.
    Bodice
    -Made from the past patterns ball gown. Double point and the straight sleeves.
    -Fully lined with poly boning at the front, side and waist.
    -30" waist
    -34" bust
    -35" around the shoulders
    -8" side seam


    Light Blue cotton Ball Gown with Godey's skirt -$100
    - Skirt modeled off of godey's fashion plate with open skirt and faux petticoat showing.
    -Bodice and skirt trimmed in cream ribbon, cream tassels, and some darker blue braid and ribbon.
    -Bodice is fully lined
    -skirt has some spots that will probably come out with washing.
    Skirt
    -31.5" waist
    -42" long
    -Hand tacked hem
    -The faux petticoat is cream with a knife pleated ruffle at the bottom and 4 rows of darker blue ribbon trim.
    -The open part of the skirt is bordered with cream ribbon and then tassels down the side.
    Bodice
    -Also from the past patterns ball gown...about a size 12 or 14
    - laces up the back with machine done eyelets.
    -Chevrons in cream ribbon trim the front and dark blue braid along the front side seams
    -poly boning at front, side and back seams.
    -Some light spots on bodice.
    -28" waist
    -38" bust
    -8.5" side seam
    -37" at shoulder line



    Very Basic Light grey dress of heavy cotton -SOLD PENDING PAYMENT
    -Past patterns gathered bodice attached to skirt with hidden waistband
    -This is a very simple get dirty dress or something to use as a sort of nice servants dress.
    -includes collar and cuffs
    -fastens with hook and eye tape up the front
    -Skirt is 38.5" long
    -32" waist
    -38" bust
    -8.5" side seam
    -14" front length
    -Bodice and bishop sleeves are both lined with the same fabric as the dress.


    Authenticly made pale green cotton party/ball gown -$200
    -Party dress with straight waist attached to skirt and ballgown style neckline.
    -Straight waist has directional pleating and is hand attached to the bottom of the bodice which is finished with piping.
    -Pocket in front right seam
    -Handmade thread loops on dogleg.
    -The back is done as a faux 3-piece back and the tuck is hand-sewn in place.
    -The front is done up with individula hook and eyes
    -bodice fully line and is fitted with darts and has double puff sleeves
    -Comes with dark green sash
    -skirt is hemed with a polished cotton hem facing that is done with a hand running stich barely visible to the right side of the skirt
    -Skirt length 42.5"
    -34" waist
    -44" bust
    -7.5" side seam
    -43.5" around neckline
    Note: I'm only selling this dress because it is slightly too big for me. Now how often does a girl get to say that



    White Cotton dress with loads of deep blue ribbon trim -$200
    -This dress comes with skirt, day bodice, undersleeves, ball gown bodice and head dress for ball gown
    -Day bodice made from the Wisconsin state historical society 1857 pattern.
    -Ball gown is from Past Patterns
    -Both were made about a size 14
    -The skirt is in almost pristine condition as well as the ball gown. The day bodice picked up some stains while I was making it.
    -Both bodices are fully lined
    Undersleeves
    -White cotton made from state historical society pattern
    -7" inch cuff
    -Elasic top is 10" unstreached
    -15.5" total length.
    Headpiece
    -Made by my mom to match the dress
    -full circle style with ribbon and faux flowers to trim it
    Skirt
    -box pleats at waist
    -30" wasit
    -41.5" long
    -has 4 rows of 1.5" blue ribbon to trim the bottom
    -small blue ribbon as a hem gaurd
    Day bodice
    -Done with a military stripe style trim done in the blue ribbon and then white buttons.
    -Similar trim is on the full pagoda sleeves.
    -Poly boning at the side and front
    -Twill tape is attached at the waist to tie in the front and hold the bodice in place.
    -Attached collar included.
    -32" wasit
    -40.5" bust
    -8.25" side seam to waist
    Ball Gown Bodice
    -Same style trim as day bodice
    -Hand worked eyelets to lace the dress up the back.
    -Poly boning at front, side and back.
    -30"waist
    -36" bust
    -39" at neckline
    -8.5" at side seam


    Burgandy/Mauve Cotton Calico dress -$200
    -Comes with Skirt, day bodice, ball gown bodice and bonnet
    -Well worn but still in good condition.
    -A nice sporty style for a young lady
    Bonnet
    -Made to match dress by a local lady.
    -Burgandy ribbon trim
    Skirt
    -has black hem gaurd
    -Non directional pleats at waist.
    -has rings sewn to the inside to lift the skirt to show off an underskirt.
    -31" wasit
    -44.5" long
    Day Bodice
    -Made from Past Patterns gathered bodice, about a size 12 or 14
    -Buttons up the front and cuff with fancy silver metal buttons
    -white stand up collar and cuffs included
    -black tassels at the shoulders are the only trim.
    -bodice and sleeves are fully lined
    -Has visible waist band
    -30" waist
    -40" at bust
    10" side length which includes the waistband
    -Full bishop sleeve
    -7" around cuff
    Ball Gown bodice
    -No trim other than tassels at the shoulders
    -hand worked eyelets to lace up the back.
    -Roghly a size 12 or 14.
    -31" wasit
    -39" bust
    -39.5" neckline
    -8.5" side seam
