Field Hospital Photographs

Next month I will be serving as Confederate Surgeon at Bristoe Station and am planning to get Robert Szabo to take a photograph of our Field Hospital Sunday morning before it breaks up.

I will be the doctor and will have overnight patients, male nurses, and an orderly.

We will be set up with only a fly tent for canvas.

Anyone have any original images online which I can look at to use as the basis for the photograph?

I will be there though I will be doing the old infantry private set-up. Had lots of fun at Chickamauga doing medical. I do hope to make it over to see your set up if I am let since I will be doing federal. As for pics let me suggest

These are more fixed hospitals but may be of some help.

Try this link. There is a search option at the bottom. Try typing in different things. Unfortunately, they aren't in any particular order . All I have done is, typed different things like "tent hospital", "field hospital", "Surgeon", etc. I know there are quite a few photos of field and Army hospitals on the site. As well as many period photos for just about anything.
