Default Federal Units @ Cedar Creek?

    Pards-

Having just volunteered to clerk for the Fed HQ at Cedar Creek, I'm now certain that I'll be attending this year. I was unsure until now, as the two units I've been associating with (to varying degrees) don't appear to be going en masse.

Are there any Federal units out there that wouldn't mind me throwing up my shelter half and trotting out my first person in their midst?

    Sir,

It strikes me as being inherently logical- and in fact, I would be quite honored- for me to rest my head amongst the CVG as the HQ guard, if you fellows would be so kind as to have me.

Might I ask about what specific uniform/equipment requirements above and beyond those for the event as a whole that the CVG will be working with for this particular event, so that I can tailor my kit to best match the unit?

    Jeff,

We are just doing basic 1864 Federal, with campaigned Hardee's or civilian hats with basic blouse/sky blues.

No real specific impression this time around, just rough and ready Federals.
