I'm sorry but I have been in the hobby since 1997 and have never seen a harp at any event, big or small. I'm sure it's happened somewhere though.

You are right Cole, that is a good book, I even bought it a few years ago and forgot all about it...sorry about that. Now I have to see if I can find it here in my study.
I'm not sure if I know of any Civil War music books with tab. Just starting out you may want to take a few banjo lessons and just start playing as much as you can. There was a definite style back...
As far as I know Maurice Whitlock passed away years ago and the business is closed. He was a great guy.
Very cool!
The band was GREAT as always Jari!!
If you don't mind me asking, what units did you both join?
I thought Kevin Conway passed away....No?
Julio,
Is this just all men in the hobby or are you including civilian woman?
Saw the article Julio...very cool!
I really enjoyed the movie very much and also thought it was pretty powerful. I found myself scanning the sets also and I think they did their homework on this one. We should all go see this one.
I'm going Saturday to see it. We complain about no Civil War era films being made...so let's go!
I had him make me a pipe years ago, he is outstanding!
May he always stay safe! You must be very proud, God bless him and all of our Veterans.
That's a wrap! Good choice!
Mine must be about 8 years old and I couldn't count the number of events, campaign to mainstream, it has been to. Great product and nice people. You won't be dissapointed.
Welcome CW to the dinner table.
I assume Julio hasn't published the images yet to his online site. I can't wait to see them also.
Dang! I have been wanting to attend one of these but this falls on the same weekend as Return to Manassas. Have a great time....maybe next year.
This seems like a good business idea but I will go along with the rest. I clean my own rifle and tune my own banjo.
Very sad, my prayers go out to the family.
Great advice here James on brogans. Spend the extra money and you won't be sorry.
Being in this hobby since 1997, I still find CW reenactors just plain great people. I saw it last weekend at Bentonville. Both sides trying their best to follow the game plans, and thanking each...
Really nice images, I had a great time!
Mr. Bauer,
The nice thread on Lincoln lasted for around two posts and quickly went downhill. You have made a very nice post here, let's hope this thread fairs better.
