Found one, thanks!
Hey there RedKepi,
I saw your ad, Nice rifle. But I'm really on the lookout for a used smooth-bore.
Thanks for the reply nonetheless!
I'm looking for a used but not abused ArmiSport 1842 Springfield .69 Cal smoothbore musket.
If anyone has one they'd like to part with or knows of one around let me know.
Just load up your cheek with a hunk of chaw if you need to get your nicotine/tobacco rush....Problem solved. ;)
For blanks I use 70gr of FFFG.
For Live Fire, my favorite load is 42-45gr of FFFG behind a .575 460gr minie.
I'm gonna put it bluntly.
You're gonna mess up, being it your first time learning drill, marching maneuvers, constantly staying dressed in line, learning the manual of arms, stacking rifles...etc....
FWIW, we have to remember the war raged on for 4 long years to which I believe nearly every malleable concept would have tried to have been utilized in some shape or form during this time. Albeit...
I'm sorry to hear this.
And here's a quick look at the Indiana Self-Defense laws -
I was actually going to make a short video or pic tutorial showing this method. I'll get around to it someday when I have time.

I think your best bet would be to find an image of...
FWIW, I make my own wax paper from brown paper bags.
I melt down paraffin wax in a double boiler. I cut sections of a paper bag (can get two sheets per bag) and quickly pass them through the liquid...
Thanks fellas for the replies!
Yeah, I never use the ramrod as a cleaning rod. Only for inspection.
Apparently it happened by improper stacking arms by the #2 man. After breaking the stack and...
As we know, some of the repro rods out there are made in two pieces.
I have one for a 61' Springfield Armisport that has become loose at the joint and now the top portion wobbles.
Received this greatcoat today in a speedy fashion, and it's a perfect fit!
Thanks again Harley!
Hey guys n gals,
I was wondering if anyone has any diagrams (or pics) with measurements on how to make the uprights, a ridge pole and a ridge pole sleeve for a wedge tent that measures 6'X8.6'X6'...
I'm looking for a complete deck of reproduction, poker playing cards, (with box) but I'd like them to be in used condition having a worn look to them.
Thanks for any help!
I'll take the Panther Wedge Tent pending confirmation of my last question via email.
^^ I agree.
SackCoat did include an appendix to his sentence.
I think it's only fair when quoting someone, to include the whole sentence that's being quoted upon rather than a piece of it...
