Short answer, the "modern" bandanna is not period. Just make a neck cloth out of any homespun material and use that.... basically a large handkerchief... Cravats are a civilian fashion accessory.

Update, I was able to acquire an original to send to fabricator so no excuses and it should expedite final production since they won't have to ship a bunch of prototypes back and forth. Praying it...
That is correct. Pretty crappy washer at that. On the list of tweaks
German caps bought from Back Creek. Not sure what the options are.....
whatever seals inside of caps... wax or whatever it is clogs cone. Maybe I need better caps?
I generally use the same blanks I use for a 3 band with no issues... caps is my biggest problem as the wax clogs the cone...
Here are more pix clearly showing the blade passing through the hilt. Blade is one piece up through handle. Hope this clears up your questions
What you see IS where the blade meets the guard. If you look closely (?) you will see where the hilt is backed out of scabbard showing about an inch of blade before the hilt. Not sure how to make...
