Julio and I have become close colleges, compatriots, and comrades in this effort to document the events. We have discussed philosophies and strategies of documenting events without imposing a Heisenberg effect. (I think that is the term anyway.) It refers to the notion in atomic research that the light needed to observe the atomic behavior affects the event. That would be the camera flash. Here we are, non-combatants with 21st century photographic equipment on the field trying not to effect the event or look out of place.
I hope we are doing a service to all that make this happen. Otherwise the event vaporizes into a memory never to be relived through the magic of photography and video produced by those dedicated to the medium and the events.
They are very happy wounded/dead guys. ;)
