This event will be a great one. Also a side note to the Jaunty Bunch...if your not fighting with us you'll get to see how it feels to be run down by the CVG! Look forward to taking part in this one.

Hey Sean,
Don't worry I don't care what everyone else is going to do...I know some Jaunty Guys are rolling with the CVG. I am def. going out with you guys. CVG and Jaunty Bunch together....doesn't sound fair!

The Skillygalee Mess will be there, expect US in full force (though, perhaps not the jauntiness of the "Jaunty Bunch"...?)!

Anders, we'd like to fall-in with Randy "Splinters" Allen's company (B?). PM me privately please.

Always in friendship,

Thanks! We are going to need all the boys in blue we can get to slow down this Confederate steamroller that Mr. Anders is amassing. Start rounding up all able bodied men to defend the Union!

Or practice imitating the French frogs in "Flushed Away".

It just sounds like more targets to shoot at.

Indeed! Be ready to send runners back to camp to get more rounds. Ammunition conservation is crucial at this event due to the unscripted nature of battle.

Though we mostly just take needed ammo from the dead as we advance....

Anders

Figure it is 16 like other events...had not been told differently

Anders

The battles can last the good part of a day. I am just worried about Chris steam rolling battalions over before they even fire...lol. Maybe I will just get myself a bag of popcorn and my 3-d glasses and watch...lol

I think we need to have a federal workday... and build some tiger traps around confederate camp.

Nick, judging by your signature, you are coming with the 61st NY. Last I checked, they are going to be coming as a pioneer company. I'm sure they will let you swing an axe or dig a hole. I know the rest of us enlisted men will appreciate some cover from the swarm of gray that will be infesting those woods.

Communication is a big deal at this event, and we are always in a shortage of runners for the commands. Not a glamourous job by any means, but very important.

How old are you, by the way?

Nick61stnewyork

Im 15, and as I would guess, it would be 16 to fire a musket. Thats why I was asking. But a runner wouldent be a bad job. And yes, we are comming as a pioneer company, so ill sholder a axe:D .

Duff

That probably what we'll end up doing with you, Nick. You may want to start running now because you'll be doing alot of it! :D
