This should have some folks wringing their hands and saying that the end is near. I'm thinking that it is about time that something like this on the Statehouse lawn. I heard the one gentleman portrayed on the monument speak several times. He was one smart cookie.

Why would you think that? Do you think the people of Virginia are too small to recognize the achievements of the African Americans?

I lived in Richmond during the Arthur Ashe fiasco. I'm surprised this hasn't caused the same situation.

Won't happen....they're still too pissed about Lincoln sitting on the bench with Tad outside the Tredegar Works to notice this one.
