CS Brown Variegated Jean Cloth. These so-called 'tiger striped' pants were made by Scott Hanes of the Richmond Depot. Exquisite! They are size 36 waist X 34 inseam. Coarse cotton domestic lining (osnaburg), natural bone buttons, loads of neatly executed hand stitching! Semi-mule ear pockets and belted back. Great for CS or civilian impression. Blue Denim Trowsers. Size 36 waist X 33 inseam. Common civilian work garment, these indigo-dyed cotton denim trowsers would again be fantastic for either a CS or citizen's impression. Made as a special order by Wambaugh, White & Co. Standard period pattern--high waist, semi-mule ear pockets, belted back, natural bone buttons. And again, TONS of hand-stitching--even the leg seam allowances are HAND-BOUND! Half-lined in heavy cotton canvas. Just drop-dead gorgeous!
