Friends:

Well, the show must go on.

I currently have the following in stock and ready to ship!!

David Gilbert Myers shirts
Rubber Blankets
5 Lb Federal Issue Blankets with the federal issue "US". I am totally THRILLED with this copy, as it has the coarseness and weight of the originals.

Type I and II Federal issue forage caps, both plain and with ventilators.

Upcoming runs will be Rubber Rain Coats, Dress, aka "Hardee Hats", and a copy of a rubber blanket salvaged from the Maple Leaf.

To change gears slightly, to expand upon traditional "sutlers" I am considering having representatives in locations across the country. I would ship the items directly from here. They will earn a commission based upon their sales. Communication will be the key. IN addition, I am developing a line of denim jeans, and I am looking for people to make sales calls and book orders.

All interested parties should contact me directly.

Friends:

Our relationship with Joe Hofmann/Jersey Skilletlicker Products has ended. It needs to be noted that, going forward, our products will be available through EJ Thomas and Carter and Jasper, myself, and within the next two to three weeks two regional vendors.

As always, please feel free to contact me if you should have any questions.

Nick;

I am sorry to hear about the split. However, I am most grateful for the extra thought and effort that you have taken to ease any concerns. You truley are a class act!

I have been looking to update my frock coat, and yours are the best, and hope to have one soon.

Chris:

I cannot thank you enough for the kind words! I too am sorry, and in truth Joe Hofmann is a class act as well. Maintaining his health is a major consideration, and has to be the first priority, for anyone.

He taught me a lot about customer service, so much so, that I look back in disbelief as to how I initially approached it. It is very likely that he may never get credit for being the first one for transforming the way authentic items are brought to market. I know that he changed the way that I look at it.

I will indeed miss working with him, but fully intend to maintain that level, if not higher.

Thank you again for your kind words.

Nick,
Can you tell us more about the blankets you mentioned. The only source I knew of for a true 5lb gray issue blanket was County Cloth. I checked the sites you list as carrying your goods but didn't find your blanket anywhere. My unit's impression calls for the pre-war US military blanket and it would be nice to be able to tell people of multiple sources for authentic blankets.
