Abby and others,
What a wonderful offering by these ladies! I hope to be able to sign up for both presentations. What is the cost of the tickets? Abby, do you work here in the Burg? If so, would be grand to meet you ahead of time. (I live on Hospital Road, just off Baltimore street before you get to the quarry.)

If there are any ladies (guys as well) who will already be At High Tide, please let me know. I will be glad to help carpool. Hubby and I are setting up our camp on Wednesday evening, so will already be there or thereabouts.

Looking forward to next week!

Hi Sally,

Thanks for your interest in our talks. The cost for Terre's talk is $15 and for Glenna Jo's $20. This includes tea, coffee and refreshments.

My daughter lives in Gettysburg, on Buford Ave. I actually live about two hours west, but it seems lately I've been in Gettysburg more than my own town. :-)

I'll be happy to pass your kind offer to help carpool to the folks I know are going to the event. It's going to be a hectic couple of weeks, but I'm looking forward to it also!

Regards,
Abby Walker

Abby-
Thanks for the info. As of this afternoon, I may not be able to help with carpooling after all. Hubby is having surgery as soon as High Tide is over (actually on tues, 7/2) and we must spend part of Thursday the 26th running around so he can stockpile at least a unit of his blood and getting lab work done. THAT way, I can get to the presentations and we can spend Fri through Sun enjoying ourselves. Looking forward to seeing you soon.
Sally

Abby, please get back in touch with me. There's a long explanation why you haven't heard from me.

Sorry for the personal message, folks.
