True?

Did the artist have Dorothy Dandridge in mind?

The mission was a complete failure since the "Slave Girl" had not been instructed in the fine art of boating, and subsequently stood up in the canoe to entice the lustful boys of the "North". Consequently she fell into the "Big Muddy" and was swept away. The General was heard shouting from the trees, “go away you silly men or I shall be forced to taunt you again" leading to a roll in a future Monty Python movie.

The end.

I found artwork for this story in a collection of commercial artist's works on th WWW.(Internets) I wish I could find the other CW/WBTS STAG story I remember with a ripped bodiced woman crewing a Union steam launch. STAG had a bunch of CW/WBTS themed stories during the Centennial which I remember from the magazines my father had hidden under his bed.
