Brett "Amtrekker" fell in with the CVG (Chesapeake Volunteer Guard) at the recent New Market reenactment, and has posted a few things now on his website about his first CW experience...

Brett was a really nice fellow, and seemed to really enjoy himself, even if the ground was a little hard. The fellow gave it his all, and (honestly) looked better than a lot of us more veteran reenactors!

Brett was a great guy to be with. He learned quick, looked the part, and took everything in stride. We told him that if he was ever in the area again he should join us again for a weekend.

For those who don't know, Brett is going across the USA and he has a list of things he wants to accomplish and he can't go home until he completes them all. One of them was to reenact in the Civil War, and he was invited to attend New Market with the CVG. He has documented it on his web site. Brett has been interviewed on CNN, Good Morning America, etc. about his website.
