I have been asked to pass along the below invitation. I am not reccommending, nor endorsing the event, just acting as a conduit.

MARCH 25th and 26th 2006

We started to produce maple syrup here at Camp Tuscazoar in 2004 we have a 1000 tap operation. That same year we decided to have a pancake breakfast. This went very well. In 2005 we decided to see if vendors and re-enactors could be added as to create a living history early spring theme, as life would have been lived during the 1700-1800s time periods. There were re-enactors from revolutionary and civil war eras. Also vendors were included. We had this event April 1st and 2nd 2005-- that weekend we had a major snow storm. Again, this went well, despite the very poor weather.
Hoping the weather will co-operate this year, we want to hold this event again. We will be giving tours of the maple operation, serving pancakes, selling syrup and enjoying the re-enactors as they do their crafts
The re-enactors coming to set-up and present this year will receive a pancake breakfast on Saturday and Sunday, a Saturday evening meal and a Sunday soup, cooked by a 1700ís Revolutionary War period cook. Firewood and straw will be provided, as needed.
Camp Tuscazoar is a non-profit organization. Proceeds from this event will go to the camp. For more information about the camp, you can check our website at www.tuscazoar.org .
