Does anyone know who uses this form of size stamp? I bought these trousers off the forum and they're excellent, lots of hand-sewn details, and I'd like to be able to point the fellows in my unit to the maker. I was thinking it might be Chris Sullivan, but if he ever used a stamp like this he's not using it now.

Before we lock out and delete this thread did you ever narrow down who you think the stamp within the trowsers may have come from?
Tnx for sharing Darrell,
Walt

Tnx for sharing Darrell,
WaltThe majority of replies indicated they were indeed made by Stony Brook - A large enough majority to convince me, although I e-mailed Mr. Sullivan directly but never got a response from him.

Darrell,
Are we to perceive by yours above that Stony Brook is no longer manufacturing such trowsers? Is/was Messr. Sullivan the proprietor of Stony Brook?
Thanks for the reply.

WaltNot at all, he's still in business ... And I don't get too wound up when vendors don't answer every little e-mail, as they do have other things to do.

Yeah Chris Sullivan is a great guy to deal with and would highly recommend his trousers to anyone. You cannt beat the price or quality that goes into them.
Thanks John Weiland
