I live in S.NJ and have been thinking of getting into reenacting for awhile. The campaign season is here again and I am ready to take the plunge. I'm thinking being somewhat close would be a plus for help getting started, drills, meetings, etc.

Thanks in advance.

Bill Rodman has a "local" to SJ battalion of sesesh. He commands Neshaminy. Otherwise, if you like blue, check out 12th NJ, Co. K at www.mifflinguard.org.

We have quite a few people located all through Jersey (we are Company C in the CVG). We portray both the blue and the gray.

Thanks for the plug. The First Battalion ANV has members in S. Jersey, SE Pennsylvania, and Northern Virginia. We attend both mainstream and CPH events. Families are welcomed and encouraged to attend those events that accept civilian participation. Many of the guys also do a Federal impression.

Give me a hoot at the e-mail address listed.

The Rome Light Guard, under the Command of Capt. Z. Langley & Capt. M. Herman, they fall under the ANV's 5th Reg Commanded by Col. "Duffie" G.L. Miller should be in your area as well.

The 8th is participating in a Living History event this weekend (Saturday only) in Kutztown, PA. If you'd like more information, I'd be happen to forward you Capt. Langley's contact information.

Kind Regards,

If your looking to do a confederate impression you can join us we're always looking for more people. The 10th Virginia has people from Philadelphia, Delaware and Maryland. We do both small re-enactments and the big ones like Gettysburg and Cedar Creek. On Memorial Day we're doing a parade in Bethal Township (the very edge of Delaware County). Sat and Sun of that same week we have a small re-enactment at the Greenbank Mill. We're a easy going company that is part of the progressive Fighting First Regiment. You can visit our site at http://www.b10va.com/. There you can find all the information about our company. Email Scott, Catherine or Dave for more information.
