WTB: Kepi

I seemed to have lost my favorite kepi at the last event I attended last fall thus I'm in need of one.

My noggin' size is around 7 1/8.

I'll take a confederate kepi but would prefer a federal one so I can wear it as both a reb and a yank.

Although I'll settle for a "lesser quailty" kepi, I would prefer it be higher quality. I don't mind paying for good quality which is what I'm looking for.

Dirty Billy is the exact type of quality that I'm looking for. Call me stupid but I didn't even know Dirty Billy made kepi's. I thought he just made slouch hats. Oh well, stupid me. I have a couple of things in the works, so to speak, at the moment so let me see how these pan out.

I'm CERTAINLY very interested in this Kepi!

Take a look in eBay right now. There are several Type I & Type II caps from the one in NJ for some great prices ($65 opening bid, $85 Buy It Now, brand new!!!). I already have two otherwise I would have snapped them up.

Yeah I've been checking out Ebay. I think the hats you are referring to are forage caps and not kepis. I suppose I could settle for one of these if I don't find a kepi fairly soon. They also appear to be very light in color to be a federal hat...of course that could just be the picture. There is one federal kepi there that is exactly what I'm looking for except that it, of course, is the wrong size for my noggin'. lolz

The color of the caps are correct for what they are. Cant go wrong with anything from that maker or for the price alone..
