Folks,
There are a mess of updates availible on the event web site at www.hopescampaign.com
I also am very pleased to announce that Mike Lavis will be commanding the Confederate 3rd Battalion for the event.
Please register as soon as you can, so we can continue preparations.
Pards,
what are the numbers looking like at this point?

Don't know what the registration numbers are to date, but I am guessing CS participation at the event around 250-300 which is perfect for this event.
I hope there are 500 Federals!

That's quite an increase over last year's numbers. I hope it's that large.

The CS side will be that large I can promise, and I certainly hope the Federals step up as well....this is a chance not to be missed.
Pards,
WOW, this event really exploded.

Yes, it has exploded tenfold from last year. Now we just need a solid group of federals to defend our Pennsylvania soil. The Confederates have drawn the line in the sand, now the Federals need to meet the challenge. The Invitation is out there, Federals. Don't miss this opportunity to get a taste of unscripted 1863.

How bout all the work done on building stone walls and new areas. I hope to take photos of the new areas.

Eric - You'll have four guys there that will take on the entire rebel horde by themselves if need be. We did some fine work together on the final afternoon last year pushing them across the property, this year will be no different.

Mr. Lovejoy, aka Cpl Love, is absolutely correct. I think the Rebs called for reinforcements after what we had done to them last year. I guess that means 250 Rebs are needed to stop 4 Feds!! Sounds about right!! In all seriousness, this event will only get better from last year with more guys. This is one of my most looked forward to events for this season.
Lovejoy, don't forget how we practically captured the Confederate commander on the first day with the first shots of the battle!!
