Hi,
Well I want to make a line of Hope Stoves, but unlike the Sibley I don't have an original to copy.
Does anyone know what the sizes are of the stove H+W+D where the pipe hole is located and the wood feed lid.???

Sir, the "Civil War Collector's Encyclopedia", by Francis A. Lord has a small description and sketch of a Hope Stove ( Patent No. 37,399 ). May I quote, "Patented January 13 1863, Castleton, Vermont. This stove consisted of a box of sheet metel, provided with holes for the chimney and for a kettle. The stove was designed to use over a trench cut in the ground". Thanks,

Hello,
I do not know if you ebay, but the seller "gettysburgstore" had one for sale.
It ran for the last few weeks. You may contact them for dimensions. I do not think it sold. I thought it was cool, but it was a local pick up only!
Tha Mad MIck!
