instead of continuing the presvious thread, I figured I'd do a new post updating the old list and adding a couple new things
prices do not include shipping, I am also willing to trade for repro or original WWII GI uniforms/gear
Vest, light weight dark blue wool, polished cotton back, civilian shawl collar pattern, original gutta-percha buttons. some machine and some hand sewing, has adjustment strap on back, fits a 48-50 and will adjust smaller. $40
Fed Forage cap, sutler row, nothing fancy, $15
Cap box, made by dixie gun works, marked "J.R.Sickles, St. Louis" on front, $10
Black leather belt, and Louisiana state enlisted belt plate. cast brass. belt is about 42-43 inches long, $20
brown wool civvie trousers, mostly handsewn, roughly 32-34 waist 28-30 length, two small patches on seat, $40
CS shell jacket, all handsewn, block I buttons, unknown pattern, FHW jean wool, off white cotton lining. six button front. $90
sky blue canteen cover, never used, $5, must go with something else
original 55-61 springfield bayonet, nice condition, blade has been arsenal shortened to roughly 14 inches, making the whole length 16 1/2 inches. shortening was done long ago, as the metal age matches on the cut portions of the tip. overall metal condition is very nice, locking ring moves freely, US stamp is faint but there. $80
1842 Austrian musket, original, metal is slightly pitted, has been restored. repro cone and a couple small pieces, with bayonet, 800
1809 Prussian musket, nicely restored, beautiful shape, all hardware matching, lock has been rebuilt with original parts. has repro ramrod and comes with repro cone, still has original cone aswell, with bayonet, 900
