Original Sharps & Hankins carbine. Converted to center fire. It has a 2" sleeve in the breach to allow it to fire 44 Mag. blanks. The .52 Cal. Barrel is 19 inches long and it has a saddle ring for mounted use. The metal & wood are in very good condition and it has a smooth action.
This gun was available early in the war and was one of the first rim fire cartridge guns made. This would be a unique piece for reenacting cavalry or just to own. $1250.
An explanation of how I make blanks that work in this and other 1860 era cartridge guns is free to anyone just check out my web site at http://www.9thnycavalry.webeditor.com or send me an e-mail.
