Recruitment Scenarios

Greetings All,

I am currently working on recreating some recruitment drive scenarios for my battery to use at a Living History we are participating in, in the next couple of months. Does anyone have or can anyone point me in the direction of a speech or speeches that were used for this type of recruiting. I was hoping for an example to use to write my own. I have looked and have had little success. Thank you for all the help in advance.

and use the theme in that and the words to build your own speech around.

While orators spoke at great length, I suspect that recruiters were short, fiery, too the point and got them to sign up while still inspired.

A long speech ain't going to do that.
