Gentleman’s Wool Frock Coat

This was made for my brother several years ago. He wore this coat twice. It was my first frock coat and has beginner’s skill. On the back of the right sleeve there is a couple of puckers where I could not get the sleeve into the bodice smoothly. These are seen when the coat is worn, however, if you are not a perfectionist, since they are in the back, they are not noticed too much. I am selling it “as is” though this could mostly likely be fixed. The coat is lined, though not in a professional manner.

Size: According to the pattern, I believe this coat was for someone with a chest measurement of 36-39 inches (I cannot recall my brother’s measurement). Finished measurements are:

Buttoned the coat around chest measures 44 inches.
From top shoulder seam to shoulder seam 18 inches.
Sleeve from the shoulder to hem 23 ¼

After doing some measuring (my brother is 36 inches in the chest) and comparing with other patterns, I believe this coat would be a size 38.
