Hello all!!!

After kicking around the idea of selling all my leather tools and forgetting everything I ever learned about the Civil War, I decided to stick with it.

I am going to focus on Columbus Depot articles aka painted canvas items. I will be working out of the book by Shannon Pritchard called Collecting the Confederacy-yes, Santa was good to me!!!! I am also working with some manufacturers to have some different types of hardware aka buckles etc made.

I am wondering, if anyone would be intersted in the stamped iron CS plates that are enamelled like the ones in the above book. Also plan to do some denim bib and waist overalls.

Well hope to have some stuff soon may be up to a month before I can get some stuff out, the linseed oil has to dry!!!

Jeremy aka the Mad Mick!!!

ps I will mainly be selling online ebay, and here for now hopefully by the spring my luck will change, and i will be able to afford to travel!

Jeremy,

Glad to hear you'll be around a bit longer. Not sure about the stamped plates to which you refer, but I will keep my eyes out for the overalls.

Glad Christmas was good.

Clay,

I think some of my cleaning sale on ebay went to you!!!! Thank you!!! I hope I can get the overalls made. The stamped iron plate is a new one to me as well. After 27 years around the hobby I hadn't heard of them until Pritchards book came out. Work was slow today, so I made a few patterns. I hope to get to work on some items this weeknd.

Thanks again all!

Jeremy

I am very interested in the painted canvas items of which you speak. I would like to improve my late war Confederate impression.. A belt, cap box,and cartridge box with strap are items that I would like to have on hand.
Drop me a line when you have some of those items.
