Here is the updated registration list as of Sunday, February 12th. We are getting close to the halfway point with 175 registrations. At our current pace of ten per day, this means we will meet the 400 number by the first week in March:

A reminder that the Confederates will be capped at 150 infantry soldiers. We really need to get Federal registrations moving. We only have 81 out of the 250 Federals registered. It looks like the first companies to cap out will be the Stonewall Brigade on the Confederate side and The GHTI on the Federal side.

On March 1st, we will publish the registration list by company so everyone will know exactly where we stand on the caps.

Thanks for the interest. We want to get registration done early for this, so we can get everyone situated well-ahead of the event.

Good Evening Everyone:

As announced earlier today at the Authentic Campaigner, the Confederate Infantry has reached the cap of 150 and is now closed. If you sent in your registration by mail today, we will accept you into the event. It must be post-marked February 15th. Please do not send in any more Confederate Infantry registrations. We need to have everyone who registered get their payments in as soon as possible. If we have not received all payments for the Confederates by March 15th, we will begin a waiting list. More details on that later. Please get your payment in ASAP.

The Federals are approaching the halfway mark at 119. The companies are beginning to fill up nicely. We have talked or corresponded with several groups who have an interest in registering for the Federal side today, so company commanders - you may be receiving some requests/e-mails.

The total for the event stands at 271:

Nice work, Eric. The Rowdy Pards voted to support Rich Mountain in blue. You will start to see our registrations coming in shortly.

Glad to hear of the postmark clause -- I was starting to get worried. I put my Confederate registration in the mail on the 14th, but it's evidently not been rec'd yet.

Greetings Everyone:

First off, Federal Infantry and Confederate cavalry registrations are open. Please send in registrations for these groups as soon as possible. We will update everyone on where we are with the caps for Federal companies. Confederate artillery is confined to one unit that we invited to the event.

Secondly, Confederate Infantry registration is closed. Today, we received a couple of on-line registrations signing up for Confederate Companies. We removed the option to register for Confederate Infantry on the web site, so we aren't quite sure how this is occuring.

We understand and appreciate that there is a lot of interest for the event, but we cannot accept any more Confederate Infantry registrations on-line or by mail. The registrations received for Confederate Infantry today will not be added to the list.

Only those Confederate Infantry who are currently listed as registered on the web page here and those who sent mail-in registrations post-marked February 15th are considered registered for the event. If you attempt to send in a Confederate Infantry registration at this point, please remember that registration fees are non-refundable and will be donated to the Rich Mountain Battlefield Foundation, unless for some reason, the event is cancelled.

We have a number of 400 infantry that we must abide by. We have a ratio of 250 Federals - 150 Confederates that must be maintained. The parking and maneuvering areas - especially for the battle are set and can't be changed.

Thanks everyone for your interest and thanks for listening.
