[Poor Private]

I just received a book review on civil war small arms from my online Black powder magazine.

"An Introduction to Civil War Small Arms"
By Earl Coates and Dean Thomas

According to the review it follows powder/Ball, from loose powder to cartridges in the book along with the confed and fed arsenals and regiment issuance of arms. Lots of pictures (not drawings) gives out ballistic info.

You will not regret picking this up. It has some really neat stuff on the weapons issued to specific units as well.I bought at Antietam the year it was published and refer to it still.
