In a purchase of several civil war bullets, both bullet and ball, there were about a half dozen of pistol caps.
The bullets are authentic, but the question is how can you tell if the pistol caps are genuine or not? They are more of a copper than what you see today and they have a red color on the inside with a whiteish circle in the middle.
